Description
Brief Introduction
The SC-EP01 Flame Proof Telephone is developed for demanding industrial locations such as mines, oil fields and steel mills, where communication equipment may be exposed to harsh operating conditions.
The telephone uses a wall-mounted aluminum alloy enclosure with IP67 protection and supports SIP, analog and direct fiber optic communication. Speed dialing, emergency call buttons, LED indication and a 30W speaker can be configured for calling, alarm indication and broadcast communication.
The current product documentation also lists CE and RoHS compliance. These should be presented separately from explosion-protection certification, as they do not by themselves define the hazardous-area rating of the telephone.
Flame Proof Telephone Construction
The telephone housing is made from aluminum alloy to provide a strong and stable enclosure for industrial use. Its IP67 protection helps reduce the effects of water, dust and moisture on the internal components.
A stainless steel handset cord and external door latch are used to improve resistance to corrosion and physical wear. The keypad material should be confirmed before publication because the current page lists both cold-rolled steel and stainless steel in different sections.
Communication and Broadcast Functions
The SC-EP01 can be supplied with SIP, analog or direct fiber optic communication, allowing the communication method to be selected according to the existing site infrastructure.
An LED indicator can flash when a call is received, helping personnel identify an incoming call in noisy areas. The 30W speaker can also be used for broadcast messages from the control room.
Preset speed-dial numbers can be configured for quick calling. The telephone also supports one-touch group broadcast and a dedicated broadcast/intercom button according to the selected system configuration.

Emergency and Device Functions
The telephone supports IP address announcement for commissioning and maintenance. The current configuration also lists three SIP accounts, with automatic switching to another available account if the active registration fails.
