IP66 Waterproof Telephone

The SC-WR01 IP66 Waterproof Telephone is built for industrial locations exposed to moisture, dust, corrosion, vibration, and changing weather conditions. Its sealed composite enclosure and protective front door help protect the telephone in environments such as underground mines, subway tunnels, power plants, steel facilities, coastal sites, and offshore installations.

The SC-WR01 supports SIP, analog, and direct fiber optic communication. A stainless steel door latch, industrial handset cable, noise-reducing receiver, and IP66 enclosure make it suitable for long-term fixed communication in demanding indoor and outdoor locations.

1.IP66 composite enclosure
The housing is made from a stable composite material with good sealing and corrosion resistance. The complete enclosure is rated to IP66 for protection against dust and water.

2.Protective front door with stainless steel latch
The outer cover helps protect the operating panel when the telephone is not in use. A stainless steel latch keeps the cover securely closed, including in exposed outdoor locations.

3.Hotline and emergency dialing
Predefined numbers can be configured for rapid calling when the telephone is used as an emergency or dedicated communication point.

4.ITU-T K.21 lightning protection
Lightning protection is provided in accordance with ITU-T K.21 requirements for installations exposed to electrical disturbances.

5.Noise-reducing handset
The handset is designed to provide clear voice communication in industrial environments with background noise.

6.Heavy-duty coiled handset cord
An industrial spiral cable helps resist corrosion, repeated use, and mechanical damage.

7.Water- and dust-resistant keypad
A silicone keypad is supplied as the standard option. A stainless steel keypad can be provided according to project requirements.

The front door is more than an exterior cover. When closed, it shields the handset and operating panel from direct exposure and helps maintain the enclosure seal.

The stainless steel latch keeps the door secured against wind and accidental opening. Combined with the non-metallic composite housing, this design is particularly useful where long-term moisture, salt air, or corrosive substances can be a concern.

For coastal or chemical-industry projects, the composite enclosure also avoids the rusting associated with ordinary steel housings.
