Q:What are the differences between device casings made of different materials? How should I choose?

A:In waterproof and explosion-proof telephone products, we mainly use aluminum alloy or new composite materials (fiberglass) to make the shell. Aluminum alloy is more robust, heat-resistant, and impact-resistant, so it is often used in places with high explosion risk. Fiberglass is not metal, and although it is not as hard as aluminum alloy, its material properties are stable and it is not easily corroded by chemicals or rusted due to long-term moisture, making it suitable for coastal areas, flood-prone areas, or chemical plants.
