Introduction
The Outdoor Telephone Booth is a GRP acoustic enclosure designed for telephone communication in noisy and demanding industrial environments. It helps reduce surrounding noise and improve speech clarity in locations such as steel plants, offshore platforms, ships, petrochemical facilities, factories, and other high-decibel working areas.
Made from fiberglass reinforced polyester (GRP), the booth can be wall mounted or post mounted and used with industrial telephones, explosion-proof telephones, speakers, and other communication equipment.
Outdoor Telephone Booth for Noisy Industrial Areas
The booth incorporates acoustic perforations and sound-absorbing foam to reduce background noise around the user. It is suitable for areas where machinery, engines, production equipment, or other noise sources make normal telephone communication difficult.
In high-noise environments, the enclosure provides approximately 15 dB SPL attenuation, with noise reduction performance reaching 20 dB or more under suitable site conditions.
Its visible yellow or orange finish also makes the telephone point easier to locate during daily operation or emergency use.
