The rubber sealing ring in the cable introduction device of explosion-proof electrical equipment is an important component for maintaining the explosion-proof performance of explosion-proof electrical equipment. However, during the inspection, we found that many installation and construction workers in the steel pipe wiring system directly screwed the rubber sealing ring into the inlet of the explosion-proof electrical equipment through the outer spiral of the steel pipe, believing that this could tighten the sealing ring. This is actually an extremely common mistake. According to GB50257-1996 "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Electrical Installations in Explosive and Fire Hazardous Environments", in explosive gas atmospheres of Zone 1 and Zone 2, the number of effective thread meshing turns for steel pipes with a diameter of 25mm or less should not be less than 5 turns, and for steel pipes with a diameter of 32mm or more, it should not be less than 6 turns.
